The Owner's Commitment

Be Heeled Dog Training lays a strong foundation for dogs to become a completely integrated member of your family. We provide structure and obedience training that your dog clearly understands, and which can be applied in any setting. We also work to shape your dog’s state of mind to one that is calm and thoughtful, helping them to make good decisions so that you have a peaceful and manageable household which includes your beloved canine. However, it must be understood that there is no magic in dog training. The work that we do at Be Heeled is made up of repetition, setting clear boundaries, and holding the dog accountable for what it already knows. As the owner, in order to get the most out of your training experience, you must realize that training is an ongoing continuum: you get out what you put in. It will be crucial to your dog’s success that you maintain the work they have already begun, and refine it through your home training sessions and daily activities. You will not need to spend hours upon hours in active training mode. The majority of your training can be accomplished through maintaining structure, boundaries, and accountability during everyday activities. Know that you will be given everything you need in order to accomplish this, and what you do with that will be entirely up to you. Also, Be Heeled is always just a phone call, text, or email away, ready to provide assistance and support whenever needed!
